From Teresa Hancock Moore

I can’t say there is one particular moment I remember most with Denise. There are many memories that kind of blend into the one most memorable characteristic about her. With Denise, it was always her overwhelming beauty and kindness. It’s hard to say which was greater - her outer beauty or her inner beauty. It was easy to see what a pretty girl she was! No one I’ve ever known was so lovely.

Denise worked with me at Steak And Ale, and every man who walked through the door loved her. The bar was always full when she was bartending. It was like Princess Denise was holding court! It always made me smile to see all our regular customers gazing at her. However, it seemed that she didn’t have a clue how much everyone adored her! I don’t remember a single time she was anything but friendly and kind to anyone she met. She was so sweet the first time I met her, when The Darrow harem moved in down the street on Glenn Dr., and she was equally so the last time I saw her less than a year ago. My memories of Denise are all full of laughter and smiles…..
